What We Are Looking For

The Ticket Office Coordinator provides support for Baylor's large-scale ticketed events including traditions such as After Dark, Family Weekend, Pigskin Revue, All-University Sing and StompFest. This position partners with key constituents with the School of Music, Athletics, and Waco Symphony Orchestra.

A Bachelor's degree, one year of relevant experience, and an active Christian faith are required. A Master's degree and three years of relevant faith are preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Maintain all university prescribed accounting procedures for deposits of cash, checks, credit cards; creating vouchers as necessary for refunds; and billing of student organizations and departments for ticket sales.
  • Develop reports for all ticketed shows: (preliminary) 1 week prior to show, (semi-final) 1 week after show, and (final) 1 month after show, along with annual (June) submission of all reports, supporting documentation, dead-wood (voids), etc. to Internal Auditor.
  • Sell tickets for After Dark, Family Weekend, Pigskin Revue, All University Sing, StompFest and other departmental and student shows as requested.
  • Sell tickets for external constituents which include Waco Symphony Orchestra, Athletics, and School of Music as requested.
  • Train student assistants under direction in proper accounting procedures, ticket sales processes, documentation, including annual (June) update of ticket office procedures while instilling in students a sense of participation and responsibility as a member of the Student Activities team.
