Teaching Associate - Photography

The Department of Visual Arts at Coastal Carolina University is seeking applications for a temporary teaching associate to teach introductory photography class/es beginning Spring 2023 Semester.

Candidates must have 18+ graduate credit hours in photography OR a MFA/terminal degree in photography. Ideal candidates will have some teaching experience.

In addition to offering the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History, Art Studio, and Graphic Design and the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Visual Art and Visual Communication Design, the Department also offers a Photography minor. This highly collaborative and active department encourages close-knit classroom experiences and promotes experiential. We seek educators who have a demonstrated commitment to underrepresented and underserved communities as well as the academic success of all our students.
