Recruitment & Engagement Manager, Roux Institute

JOB SUMMARY

Currently reporting to the Associate Director, Recruitment & Employer Engagement, the Recruitment & Engagement Manager generates and engages qualified leads through external-facing recruitment efforts that support each of the Roux Institute's primary functions including enrollment, partnerships, entrepreneurship, research and hiring, including:

  • Strategically sources and executes recruitment and engagement events in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to achieve department-wide goals.
  • Working across multiple teams, with a primary focus on enrollment, to generate leads from Undergraduate Academic Institutions, guides internal stakeholders to identify in-person (and virtual, in some cases) recruitment and engagement opportunities that support their department's business needs.
  • Managing relationships with career and graduate counselors/advisors across Undergraduate Academic Institutions.
  • Attending various in-state and out-of-state academic graduate fairs, career fairs, college visits as well as execute events and tours that solicit leads directly from the Roux Institute campus.
  • Converting leads in a way that drives business goals - such as finding prospective students who ultimately enroll in Roux Institute graduate programs or forming relationships with Undergraduate Career and Graduate Counselors/Advisors that create opportunities for recent graduate students to ultimately become new Roux students.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to handle on lead generation, follow-through, and relationship management. Proven ability to work independently, excellent communication and presentation skills, keen sensitivity and being responsive to the needs of diverse constituencies and managing goals. Knowledge and skills required are typically acquired through a Bachelor's Degree plus at least two to four years experience with events, relationship management, recruiting, sales or equivalent. This position will require a flexible work schedule, including attending events that may occur on nights and weekends, and travel by this team will be expected.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

1) Oversight of 12- Month Calendar of Undergraduate Academic Institution Recruitment/ Engagement Events & Campus Tours
  • Identifying Undergraduate Academic Institutions to visit for Graduate Fairs, Career Fairs, Campus visits and more
  • Driving all associated, related marketing
  • Plan and produce events
  • Executing tours
  • Achieving lead generation goals per event and broadly through recruitment efforts
  • Owning all lead follow-through to conversion

2) Relationship Creation and Management of Undergraduate Academic Institution Career and Graduate Counselors/ Advisors
  • Relationship creation and management of Undergraduate Career and Graduate Counselors/Advisors
  • Advising all associated, related marketing
  • Ensuring Undergraduate Career and Graduate Counselors/ Advisors are up to date on the latest program offerings at the Roux Institute
  • Leading the management of Undergraduate Career and Graduate Counselors/ Advisors database with thorough reporting of each stakeholder and associated leads generated by action

3) Consultative Discovery and Collaboration with NU Stakeholders
  • Liaising with the internal stakeholders to ensure event attendance, and in some cases, sponsorships, are strategic and optimized
  • Owning the delivery of all identified events with thorough reporting for each stakeholder
