Assistant Director of Athletic Performance

The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, a NCAA Division I and Southern Conference member, seeks a highly motivated professional for the position of Assistant Director of Athletic Performance.

Responsibilities: This position will assist in the training of UTC's (FCS) Football student-athletes and will coordinate and direct all aspects of training for Women's Soccer, Women's Track & Field and Men's and Women's Cross-Country. Effectively communicate with Director of Athletic Performance, Athletic Performance staff and sport coaches. Assist in maintaining Athletic Performance training facility and inventory of equipment and supplies. Educate student-athletes in performance and lifestyle nutrition and regeneration methods. Participate in meetings, professional development clinics, and camps. This position will assist in GPS data collection and analytics and other tasks as designated by Director of Athletic Performance.

Salary: This is a 12-month, exempt position, salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Management, or related field; certification from approved governing body (CSCCa, NSCA, USA-W), CPR/AED/First Aid certifications. Minimum of 3 years of strength and conditioning experience in college setting; effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Reflexive Performance Reset (RPR) certification, GPS or other wearable technology experience, personal involvement in competitive sport and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
