The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Process Continuing Education student registrations from application to payment to ensure students are properly enrolled in their classes.

  • Register students in person, by phone, by mail, and provide students with Continuing Education class knowledge and College-wide information
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of College policy by attending seminars and participating in departmental and College-wide committees.
  • Establish and maintain student files with all required information.
  • Proficient in all requirements throughout the Continuing Education programs.
  • Process student and departmental drop/adds, canceled classes, non-pursuits and drops for non-payment.
  • Calculate and process financial adjustments on student accounts.
  • Process and accept all forms of payment including entering of credit card information, assisting with setting up payment plan options.
  • Responsible for verification of student information while maintaining student privacy according to FERPA
  • Problem solve for faculty, staff, and department issues in regards to registration.
  • Assist coordinators and managers with special projects.


  • Qualifications:

    • Education
      • High School diploma or GED certificate required.
      • Associates Degree preferred.
    • Experience
      • One (1) year experience working in an office environment required.
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills required.
      • More than two (2) years' experience in an office environment preferred.
      • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.


    Working Conditions:

  • Telephone, PC, fax, copier, and calculator.
  • Ability to lift boxes of records and materials up to 25 lbs.
  • This position requires a background check at the expense of the College.


  • Hiring Range:
    Classified 8 Hourly/17.10 - 17.50
