Thank you for your interest in teaching at the Simmons School of Education and Human Development of Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas.

Per our faculty selection process, we typically set course schedules and make course staffing decisions prior to the beginning of each semester. Thus, adjunct applications will be reviewed in June-July and November-December for the upcoming semesters.

A qualified candidate for this position would be able to teach Applied Exercise Physiology, Functional Biomechanics, Nutrition, Anatomy and Physiology Labs and/or Exercise Physiology Labs. Please review the Applied Physiology and Sport Management course offerings and create a short memo which indicates your teaching interest, what content you feel most comfortable with, and if you have past undergraduate or graduate teaching experience. Your memo and CV will be in this file for department chairs to review.

We are not delivering any course in an online format.


Qualifications:
Required Qualifications

Masters degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

Ph.D. in Exercise Science or related field or other terminal degree in allied health (i.e. DPT, PA).
