Student Advancement Programs Manager

Job Summary

Provides administrative and operational support for the SFESOM MD Program Advancement Review Committee (ARC), Student Development Team (STD), Extended Progress Team (EPT) and related activities with minimal supervision. Coordinates and schedules student and faculty subcommittee meetings, prepares and distributes meeting materials, develops agendas, records minutes, and tracks committee outcomes and follow-up actions. Organizes and supports virtual and in-person meetings, including room reservations and logistics coordination. Partners closely with Student Affairs, Curriculum leadership, faculty, and students to ensure efficient and seamless committee operations. Maintains accurate records, organized files, and confidential documentation to support academic review processes and faculty development initiatives.

Responsibilities
Position Specific:

Planning, organizing, and executing the processes for the student development team, extended progress team, advancement review committee.

Includes:* Serves as a senior staff member for SDT, EPT, ARC and on various education and other school committees related to these functions* Tracks referrals and follows up on completion of student remediation/action plans for SDT, EPT, and ARC * Manages recruitment and training, compliance tracking of members of the SDT, EPT, ARC * Partners closely with senior academic and administrative deans and directors to ensure functions of the SDT, EPT and ARC align with program mission, vision, values.* Keeps relevant students, staff and faculty up to date/manages communications/meeting documentation* Schedules appointments for SDT, EPT, and ARC student referrals/meetings* Develops feedback strategies to improve operations* Ensures compliance with University rules and regulations.

Work to initiate successful programs that drive strategic benefits and organizational growth. Define and oversee a list of dependent projects needed to reach the program's overall goals. Enlist teams, implement strategies, and measure return on investment. Act as liaison between various departments, facilitating cross-team collaboration and understanding. Organize and track projects, proactively manage risks, manage project escalations, prioritize tasks, and meet specific business objectives. Requires moderate skill set and proficiency in discipline. Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.This is a Developing-Level position in the General Professional track.Job Code: P23332Grade: P16



Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
