Job Summary

We are seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to investigate fundamental problems in nanoscience, with an emphasis on structural characterization using cryogenic electron microscopy (cryo-EM). The project focuses on semiconductor nanocrystal-enzyme complexes to uncover how nanoscale structure influences interfacial electron transfer and photocatalytic function. Research activities may include cryo-EM sample preparation and imaging, advanced single-particle analysis, and structure-property studies of nanocrystal-enzyme interfaces. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of nanomaterials and biomolecular science while developing innovative methods for studying complex hybrid systems. CU is an Equal Opportunity Employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing nondiscrimination in employment. We are committed to creating a workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity, and we encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply, including protected veterans and individuals with disabilities.
