Job Description:
What We Are Looking For

Baylor University is searching for a Performance Nutrition Fellow to support helping student-athletes improve performance, recovery, and overall wellness through evidence-based nutrition programs. The position works closely with Baylor Basketball and select Olympic sports teams by providing nutrition counseling, team education, hydration and recovery planning, food service support, and competition fueling strategies.

This position will be temporary and a Bachelor's degree and less than 1 year of experience is required.

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

What Will You Do

Team Responsibilities:

- M/W BB Operations

o Catering scheduling and ordering

o Dining Hall coordination (delivery meals)

o Staff relief to support nutrition needs during season (travel/home game support, postseason support, receiving catering orders, etc)

o Select individual student-athlete consults and education as assigned

- Team RD for Assigned Teams (XC)

o New SA screenings

o Student-athlete consults and meal planning support

o Team talks and education

o Recruiting presentations

o Staff meetings

o Travel snack/catering support

Student Worker Oversight (Olympic facilities):

- Hiring, onboarding

- Scheduling

- Daily task management and supervision of shift leads

Food Service Operations:

- Food demos at BANC

- Foster Pavilion fueling station Foster Pavilion inventory management

- Assistance with PN Supplies ordering

- Support for BANC operations

Other PN Operations:

- Educational content development

- Assist with supervision of dietetic interns

- Miscellaneous duties as assigned
