Part-Time Instructor, Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Test Prep Course
DATE: 6/9/26 - 8/25/26
TIME: 6:00 - 9:00pm
DAYS: Tuesdays
LOCATION: Distance Learning (100% remote instruction)
SALARY: $50 /hr. (instruction only)
STARTING DATE: June 9, 2026

GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
Deliver high-quality, engaging instruction that prepares seasoned payroll professionals for the Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) Exam?the industry's premier credential for advanced payroll practitioners. Provide comprehensive instruction, facilitate in-depth review sessions, and equip participants with the tools and strategies needed to succeed on the exam. Guide participants through complex payroll topics, including federal taxation, withholding and reporting requirements; benefits administration and third-party sick pay; and involuntary deductions and compliance considerations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create syllabus
- Instruct Students
- Assess & grade Students regarding course competencies
- Submit grades to Division
- Administer evaluations.
Job Requirements:
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) required
- Prior teaching, training, or facilitation experience (in-person or virtual) preferred.
- Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
