Job Summary


The Enrollment Management division at CU Boulder is seeking a Project Manager to join the Enrollment Business Solutions team! This position plays a key role in supporting project management efforts across the division, while serving as the liaison to both Enrollment Management Marketing & Communications and the Visit Experience teams. Reporting to the Enrollment Business Solutions team, this role works closely with collaborators throughout Enrollment Management to maintain organized and timely project delivery. This position contributes to division-wide efforts, supporting new initiatives, and change management aligned with campus and departmental priorities. Additionally, the Project Manager will coordinate initiatives aligned with strategic marketing, communications, and visit experience goals, ensuring projects are implemented efficiently and effectively.

Enrollment Business Solutions (EBS) is part of the Enrollment Management division, and is responsible for leading strategic initiatives and increasing operational efficiencies across the Enrollment Management division through centralized process improvement, championing transformational change, and fostering a culture of innovation for new ideas and processes that advances the division forward. Under the guidance of the Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Management, this unit provides vision, support, and operational oversight by leading cross-functional projects and initiatives to ensure alignment with divisional and institutional goals.

This full-time position reports to the Director of Strategic Initiatives and is responsible for managing projects identified as division priorities. This role will be essential to the project workflow for the Enrollment Management division supporting various initiatives that keeps the division student centered and supportive of the staff committed to enrolling and retaining top students and contributing to the staff culture of Enrollment Management. This role is designed to manage the project workflow for Enrollment Management supporting current projects sponsored by the division, along with new initiatives that support the division's goals and strategic priorities.

This is a 2-year limited-term position, with the possibility to be extended contingent on available funding.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Project Management
  • Manage divisional projects within Enrollment Management as prioritized by the Director of Strategic Initiatives.
  • Contribute to the Enrollment Business Solutions team's planning and workflow process by providing strategic project management that meets the needs of the Enrollment Management division.
  • Serve as the primary project manager for ongoing visit experience team strategy including departmental and division aligned projects and new initiative project work.
  • Use the team's project management software to set up, maintain, and archive projects.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to project deadlines and scope of project work.
  • Facilitate project communication with project sponsors, partners, and team members.
  • Maintain a level of professionalism through facilitation of new initiatives and change management work tied to department projects.
  • Understand and follow the expectations of every project that is managed.
  • Ensure that every managed project has a set of roles and responsibilities, purpose, matrix, project schedule, transition guide, and status reports to ensure successful rollout.
  • Liaison with the Enrollment Management Marketing, Communications, and Visits team on a variety of projects, such as digital advertising campaigns, creative production, web development, and technology implementation, ensuring cohesive execution that supports key strategic initiatives for student and family engagement.

Change Management & Process Improvement
  • Coordinate and implement daily administrative tasks including developing meeting agendas and logistics tied to facilitating project meetings.
  • Manage change initiatives across the organization focusing on enhancing employee adoption and usage of new processes and systems.
  • Develop change management and project management strategies that are individually tailored and support the individual groups and teams tied to this role. Provide holistic support tied to team transition strategies in alignment with Enrollment Business Solutions best practices.
  • Assist as liaison to teams for various needs tied to hiring, interviewing, and supporting HR needs for student employees tied to various projects.

Professional Development
  • Participate in training seminars, conferences, committee meetings, etc. for professional development.
  • Attend staff meetings, retreats, and other meetings as assigned.
  • Collaborate with supervisor to determine areas for professional growth and identify and request appropriate trainings opportunities.
  • Develop competencies that promote belonging, remove barriers, and ensure inclusivity for all students, staff, and offices within Enrollment Management.

What We Can Offer

  • The annual salary range is $65,000 - $71,600.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field. A combination of education and relevant experience may be substituted for the degree on a year-to-year basis.
  • 1+ years of project management experience that includes a combination of the following:
    • Managing multiple current projects.
    • Staffing and managing project resources.
    • Background in new project work.
    • Background in project management software.
    • Experience in developing and implementing change management plans.
