Reporting to the Senior Director, Brand Strategy, Marketing, and Communications, this role develops and leads integrated marketing strategies that advance school priorities, strengthen the Eccles brand, and engage key audiences. The Senior Manager will build trusted relationships with internal partners, translate business and program objectives into effective marketing strategies, and lead initiatives from planning through multi-channel execution and measurement.

They will bring experience developing audience-focused marketing strategies, shaping messaging and content, collaborating with creative and channel partners, and using performance insights to continually improve results.

Success in this role requires strong strategic thinking, communication, writing, relationship management, and organizational skills, as well as the ability to navigate a complex organization, manage multiple priorities, influence across teams, and turn strategy into high-quality, measurable marketing outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the strategic marketing partner for assigned programs, departments, centers, institutes, and school initiatives

  • Lead marketing initiatives from planning through execution, coordinating work across multiple marketing channels and collaborating with content, creative, digital, communications, and other marketing colleagues
  • Develop messaging and write marketing copy across channels, including advertising, digital, email, web, social media, presentations, and other marketing materials
  • Provide strategic direction and feedback on creative work, ensuring design, messaging, and execution effectively advance the marketing strategy and meet brand standards
  • Manage multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously while ensuring quality, accountability, effective communication, and successful execution
  • Ensure marketing and communications initiatives align with the David Eccles School of Business brand, messaging, strategic priorities, and quality standards
  • Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements based on analytics and organizational goals
  • Collaborate across the Branding, Marketing, and Communications team to strengthen marketing effectiveness, consistency, and continuous improvement
  • Lead and contribute to additional strategic initiatives and special projects as assigned
