Job Summary
Laboratory Technicians
This position is patient-sensitive and must fulfill all associated vaccination requirements, or be approved for an exemption, prior to the first day of work. We protect our patients, coworkers and community by requiring all patient-sensitive employees to be immunized according to CDC standards and hospital policy. Limited exemptions may be made for documented medical contraindications or religious beliefs that object to vaccinations.
Perform quality control testing and inspection of raw materials, formulas, and ingredients within a laboratory environment to meet current quality standards. Maintain documentation of tests, interpret results, and prepare reports. Perform laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses. Prepare and weigh samples for testing and analysis. Conduct tests, assays, and other protocols under the direction of a laboratory services manager, physician, nurse, or scientist. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean, sterile, and in proper working order. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment.

Laboratory Technician, III

Maintain documentation of tests, interpret results, and prepare reports. Perform senior-level laboratory tests, experiments, and analyses. Prepare and weigh samples for testing and analysis. Conduct tests, assays, and other protocols under the direction of a laboratory services manager, physician, nurse, or scientist. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Ensure all laboratory equipment and work areas are clean, sterile, and in proper working order. Troubleshoot, calibrate, and perform preventative maintenance on laboratory equipment. May assist less-experienced team members. Senior-level support role. Complete assignments with little supervision.Requires 3+ years of related experience.This is a Skilled Level position in the Support track.Job Code: SZ6763Grade: S16Expected Pay Range: $12.62 to $28.96
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
