Job Summary

Maintenance Mechanics
Perform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of equipment and machinery. Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair issues. Work with mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems. Ensure proper wiring in construction or repairs and ensure mechanical systems are in compliance with local or national regulatory requirements. Perform tests and locate potential mechanical hazards for repair. May inspect and repair mechanical systems in equipment or machinery and document results.

Responsibilities
Maintenance Mechanic, IIIPerform maintenance and repair tasks on a variety of equipment and machinery. Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot and repair issues. Work with mechanical, electrical, and/or hydraulic systems. Ensure proper wiring in construction or repairs and ensure mechanical systems are in compliance with local or national regulatory requirements. Perform tests and locate potential mechanical hazards for repair. May inspect and repair mechanical systems in equipment or machinery and document results. Completes assignments with little supervision. May assist less-experienced team members.Requires 3+ years of related experience.This is a Skilled Level position in the Support track.Job Code: S22693Grade: S18Expected Pay Range: $14.59 to $33.47

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Maintenance Mechanic, III: Requires 3+ years of related experience.
