Student Academic Success Center (SASC) at CU Boulder invites applications for The Program Manager - SASC Instruction position! This is a full-time university staff position in the SASC that supports academic success through the administration of instructional programs and academic services. Reporting to the Director of SASC Instruction and serving as part of a three-member administrative team, this position handles daily program operations, including logistics, enrollment processes, assessment coordination, and communication/technology support.
The Program Manager contributes to the full instructional cycle, including course development, enrollment management, instructional support, enrichment activities, and course evaluation. The position also supports faculty appointments, training, evaluation, and promotion processes, and it provides day-to-day direction to student hourly employees.
In collaboration with the Director and program team, the Program Manager helps ensure that instructional and co-curricular activities align with program objectives and applicable university, state, and federal requirements. This role requires strong professionalism, collaboration, and initiative in a high-volume, team-based environment. Who We Are
The SASC Instruction Program serves eligible students through the Student Academic Success Center (SASC), an educational opportunity center within the Office of Undergraduate Education in Academic Affairs. The program supports students across the educational pathway from pre-college through post-baccalaureate study.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Program ManagementCoordinates day-to-day operations of the SASC Instruction Program.
- Plans, implements, and evaluates programming in collaboration with the Director and team, including gateway courses, pedagogy trainings, faculty meetings, and academic events.
- Supports faculty-sponsored student interest groups by facilitating meetings and coordinating events with participants.
- Facilitates informational workshops that help students explore and map academic pathways.
- Coordinates academic support services with SASC programs and campus partners to promote support for student learning and faculty development.
- Carries out assigned and independent responsibilities to support delivery of approved program services and priorities.
- Handles term-by-term enrollment operations for the SASC Instruction Program.
- Collaborates with the Director and team to assess student need, develop enrollment profiles, and place students in course sequences, supplemental instruction, and other academic services.
- Coordinates pre-enrollment and enrollment processes with SASC programs and campus partners to support student schedules, course offerings, space use, and operational efficiency.
- Handles enrollment requests, faculty consultations, and pathway-related advising coordination, including onboarding, transfer, intra-university transfer, and exploratory options.
- Coordinates course scheduling and operational support for SASC courses and co-curricular activities.
- Handles assessment and evaluation processes for the SASC Instruction Program.
- Partners with the Director to evaluate, align, and detail instructional activities and related academic services.
- Coordinates faculty performance planning, evaluation, reappointment, and promotion processes for lecturers and teaching professors.
- Collaborates with the Office of Undergraduate Education to collect, organize, and report program outcomes, including student learning outcomes.
- Handles program records, communications, and technology systems for the SASC Instruction Program.
- Maintains unit records related to faculty reappointment and promotion processes.
- Maintains and archives course materials for all SASC courses, including syllabi, assignment descriptions, and assessments.
- Handles the program website, Microsoft Teams memberships, distribution lists, classroom supplies, instructional technologies, data requests, and related administrative systems.
What You Should Know
Twelve (12) month academic calendar year from August to July. Monday to Friday. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Hybrid schedule with three (3) days onsite and two (2) days remote. Additional evening or weekend hours as required.

What We Require
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in any field.
- At least one of professional experience in K-12 or higher education administration.
- At least one year of experience in course enrollment management, student data analysis, or another data-informed administrative function
What You Will Need
- Ability to facilitate workshops, services, and meetings in person and online.
- Knowledge of transfer and intra-university transfer policies, or the ability to learn them quickly.
- Familiarity with learning management, student information, and customer relationship management systems used in higher education.
