The Incumbent under the direction of an assigned supervisor, perform advanced instructional support functions to individual students or group of students in a classroom or laboratory environment in a specific instructional area to facilitate effective learning. AT-A-GLANCE POSITION INFORMATION:

Current vacancy: Grossmont College
Type of position: Full-time Substitute
The work hours for the substitute positions are:
Summer Hours (through Friday, July 31, 2026):
Monday-Thursday: 10:30 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Fridays: Closed
Regular Hours (beginning Monday, August 3, 2026):
Monday-Friday: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Duration: A minimum of three (3) months, but may be extended
Salary: CL-36
$28.60 - $35.78 Hourly
$4,958 - $6,201 Monthly (based on 40 hours per week)
Initial Salary Placement: New employees start at Step A ($28.60 per hour) on the salary schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination equivalent to: two years college-level course work in related science discipline and three years of experience in a science laboratory. Increasingly responsible science lab experience required.

ASSESSMENT PROCESS:
