Job Description:
Madison College is seeking a Student Services Coordinator to join our supportive, people-first team. In this highly visible frontline role, you will help current and prospective students navigate college systems and connect with the resources they need to succeed. Responsibilities include responding to inquiries both in person and over the phone, conducting intake and triage, making referrals, and coordinating appointments across Student Affairs.
We are looking for someone who brings a student-centered mindset, strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills, along with a collaborative approach to their work. As a Student Services Coordinator, you will partner with teams across Enrollment Services, Academic Advising, Counseling, Disability Services, Financial Aid, and other areas, gaining broad exposure to campus resources while playing a key role in improving student access, engagement, and success.
Position Details:
- Schedule: This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week, 52 weeks out of the year, with core hours Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with occasional extended hours until 6:00pm on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Accountabilities:
- Provides student assistance and support by guiding students through areas such as admission, financial aid, enrollment and academic program requirements to ensure an effective and efficient student experience.
- Guides students through online systems by helping them navigate admissions applications, student accounts, course registration and financial aid processes to ensure timely completion of enrollment steps.
- Answers inquiries and refers students to subject matter experts when necessary.
- Facilitates cross-department collaboration by triaging student inquiries and connecting them with campus resources.
- Assists with college-wide programming and initiatives by participating in committees, acting as a liaison and collaborating on strategies to improve student access to services.
- Provides administrative support for student services by scheduling appointments, managing program-related email accounts, processing student forms and documenting interactions in institutional systems.
- Performs other related duties within the scope of the position as required for the efficient operation of the division and to support institutional objectives.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of college admissions, enrollment, financial aid, advising, and other campus departments.
- Knowledge of student support services and campus resources to connect students with appropriate assistance.
- Skill in navigating student information systems and online platforms to assist students with applications, registration, financial aid and account management.
- Ability to manage multiple processes, meet deadlines and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to provide effective customer service and resolve concerns.
- Skill in engaging positively with all populations and communities, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning and work environment.
- Skill in effectively and respectfully communicating with others.
Minimum Requirements:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent work experience. *Experience used as an equivalent of an educational requirement is in addition to any experience required by the position.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience
