What We Are Looking For
The Assistant Director of the B Association assists with daily operations and relationship-building with former student athletes to ensure the association's continued growth and success in engaging, connecting, and honoring the legacy of all Baylor Letterwinners. Responsibilities include assisting the Executive Director in stewarding alum relationships, managing administrative operations, coordinating membership programs and events, supporting current student-athletes, and enhancing association brand and visibility.
All applicants must be eligible to work in the US on a full time basis.
What Will You Do
- Support collaborative efforts between the B Association, Athletics Department, the Baylor Bear Foundation, and University Advancement to cultivate and network with Baylor Letterwinners.
- Steward relationships with former Baylor student-athletes and provide first-class customer service to alumni, friends, and donors of Baylor University.
- Provide administrative support for the daily office functions to include budget management, database management, annual membership dues and benefits tracking, and constituent inquiries and correspondence.
- Assist the Executive Director with all B Association events to include the Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, football gameday Letterwinner's Lounge and tailgating experiences, social events, and sport-specific alumni events.
- Collaborate with internal and external units for mentoring and programming opportunities with current student-athletes.
- Manage the B Association social media efforts and platforms.
- Collaborate with the Executive Director to prepare for the B Association Board of Directors quarterly meetings (e.g., initiatives, financial report, endowed scholarship report, relationship management growth platforms).
- Assist the Executive Director to promote membership growth (especially amongst recent letter winners) and increased visibility and brand of the Association.
- Other duties as assigned.
