The Department of Ethnic Studies invites applications for a one-year, full-time Post Doctoral Teaching Fellow position to help meet our department's short-term instructional needs.
This position will be a 100% teaching appointment, with no research or service obligations. It will have a teaching load of four (4) courses, beginning the Fall, 2026 semester.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
This position will be required to teach a minimum of four (4) courses in the 2026-2027 academic year, (2) in the Fall, 2026 semester and (2) in the Spring, 2027 semester. These will include core and upper-division courses focused on the four core disciplinary pillars of scholarship: Africana studies, Native American & Indigenous studies, Asian American studies, and Chicanx/Latinx studies.

- This is a temporary, benefits-eligible 12-month position.
- Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States. New visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
What We Can Offer
The compensation for this full-time position is $60,000/annually and is limited to one (1) academic year.

What We Require
- A PhD by August 31, 2026.
- Recent experience teaching for the Department of Ethnic Studies at CU Boulder as the instructor of record.
What You Will Need
- The candidate should be able to develop and deliver high-quality courses that incorporate experiential learning, case studies, and emerging topics.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential, as the role will involve both virtual and in-person learning environments.
