Facility Operations Assistant 2, FT - Permanent

SUNY Empire State University is seeking candidates for a full-time Facility Operations Assistant 2 to work in our Saratoga Springs location.

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, the Facility Operations Assistant 2 will function in a hybrid capacity, split between supervisory and hands-on operational work.

Duties of this position will include the following:

Perform routine custodial cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways and common areas
Perform light maintenance tasks including, but not limited to changing light bulbs and minor repairs
Perform seasonal snow removal including shoveling, salting and de-icing walkways
Supervise five custodial positions
Oversee custodial supply levels; coordinating ordering and distribution
Ensure proper use, storage and handling of cleaning materials and equipment

Job Requirements:
Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must be physically able to perform the tasks of the position and be able to understand and carry out written or oral instructions.

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday 11:00am - 7:00pm

Special Information: Must possess a valid NYS driver's license

Additional Information:
Salary: SG-9 $42,641 - $52,413
