Adjunct Faculty - General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry

The School of Health Sciences at Lasell University is seeking a part-time faculty member for General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry during the upcoming semester. The School of Health Sciences offers these courses to students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry, Forensic Science, Health Science, and Exercise Science.

All listings are for in-person classes; course times will be shared upon contact. Course times cannot be adjusted, as students are already registered for the courses.

Qualifications
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Master's degree in chemistry or related field required, doctorate preferred.
  • Experience teaching chemistry at the college level.
  • Proficiency in maintaining an organized Canvas page and ability to deliver engaging course material.
  • Provide instruction for all sessions of assigned courses utilizing the college philosophy of connected learning.
  • Provide a syllabus and course outline to students that clearly communicates course learning outcomes.
  • Maintain office hours each week and timely communications with students via email and phone.
  • Keep accurate records of student progress (grades) and complete mid-semester and final grade reports.
