Part-time (PT) Clerk, Success Scholars Program

The Success Scholars Program is a new, SUCCESS Grant-funded student support program open to all students. The program's goal is to improve the retention, transfer, and graduation rates of part-time students through holistic, wraparound student support services. Services will include case-managed academic and career advising, peer coaching, and an ongoing student-led Participatory Action Research (PAR) project. Program activities will include opportunities for students to develop their academic and leadership skills, financial literacy, career interests, and more. The program will utilize a web-based early-alert system to track student progress and record advising and other program interactions. The program will be part of Massasoit's extant Student Success Team.
The PT Clerk provides administrative and clerical support to the Success Scholars Program, assisting with daily office functions and operational tasks. The PT Clerk reports to the Director of the Success Scholars Program.

Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Serves as an integral member of the Success Scholars team
  • Provides clerical and administrative support to all aspects of the Success Scholars Program
  • Enters, compiles, and prepares reports on program activities, in accordance with Success Grant requirements
  • Responds to inquiries regarding the Success Scholars Program and assists with monitoring, sorting, and purchasing of office supplies and resources
  • Performs other related duties, as assigned by the program Director


Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Demonstrated work experience in administrative/clerical support;
  • Demonstrated experience working with diverse populations;
  • Demonstrated experience entering, compiling, and reporting on data;
  • Proficiency in office technology, including Microsoft Office;
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and inclusion;
  • Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience with EAB Navigate/GradesFirst platforms

Additional Information:
Position Status: Part-time, Non-benefited.

Hours: 18 hours per week. Schedule to be determined by supervisor, some evening and flexible hours may be required. (Not to exceed 936 hours annually)

Salary: $17.00 per hour

Worksite: Assignments will include all Massasoit sites and additional locations as necessary.
