The Department of Oral Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine invites applications for a full-time Instructor position. The position calls for a person who, through excellence in teaching and practice, is able to build and maintain the department's reputation nationally and internationally. This specialty program educates predoctoral and postgraduate dental students in Oral Medicine Candidates must be eligible for a Pennsylvania state dental license or a Restricted Pennsylvania state dental license. Preference will be given to those board certified/eligible by the American Board of Oral Medicine, and those who have completed a General Practice Residency (GPR). This position will report to the Department Chair of Oral Medicine. Responsibilities will include predoctoral and postdoctoral clinical and didactic teaching in Oral Medicine and Special Care Dentistry. Women and minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications
This position is a 1 year contract, spanning July 1 through June 30 of a given year. The position renewable for reappointment at the end of the academic year.
