Description
The Department of Surgery at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in cardiac surgery. Applicants must have an M.D or equivalent degree. Board eligible in Cardio-thoracic surgery.

Teaching responsibilities may include instruction of medical students, surgery residents, and cardiac surgery fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include inpatient and outpatient care in adult cardiac surgery.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the pursuit of clinical and/or basic science research related to cardiac surgery.

The successful candidate will serve as an attending surgeon in the Division of Cardiovascular Surgery and will practice primarily at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center.
