Job Description:
FUNCTION & SCOPE:
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the HR business Partner, will be part of a team of professionals that support the HR function in the corporate office through all phases of the HR lifecycle. The position serves as a Generalist and will provide outstanding customer service and guidance on a variety of complex HR issues to internal employees and be able to effectively handle multiple tasks of varying levels of importance and priority at the same time.
DUTIES:
- Manages recruitment function from post through offer. This includes coordinating with applicants and search committee members to schedule interviews and ensure candidates have appropriate paperwork completed. As well as assisting hiring managers and search committees throughout the recruitment process.
- Support employees with Benefits and PTO questions
- Serves as point of contact and is responsible for all CO HRIS systems including Manager Self-Service, Interview Exchange, Employee Self-Service, and eTime Reporting. Coordinate any system updates with Corporate HR staff or system vendors. Provide training for new and existing staff and update training materials as needed. Answer questions regarding these systems and provide CO employees with system information updates as needed.
- Maintaining administrative precision and operational standards during onboarding, career transitions, and termination process with operational consistency
- Manage employee leave administration. Meet with employees going out on leave to explain leave processes, answer questions, and process leave forms (FMLA, NYS Disability, NYS PFL).
- Update organizational charts as needed and ensure they are posted to the public website.
- Stay current on HR regulatory laws and changes
- Processes CO HR related invoices and track expenses against department budget
- Process payroll change forms as needed
- Maintain accurate human resources records, such as personnel files, termination files and leave records, located at the Central Office and assist with the digitalization of these records into electronic file systems
- Assist with HR related special projects and events
- Demonstrate proficiency in the Oracle HRIS, including the ability to run reports and queries relevant to the role.

Compensation for this position: The compensation for this role is between $75,024 - $87,692. The pay will depend on a variety of factors that may include but are not limited to experience, education, training, certifications, and internal equity.
Requirements:
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree and 1 to 2 years' experience in HR or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Passionate Human Resource Generalist with knowledge and experience across the spectrum of the HR lifecycle
- Experience working within HRIS
- This position requires excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities

- Experience gathering and analyzing data, determine applicability, and draw appropriate conclusions
- Proven experience maintaining accurate records and generating corresponding reports
- Able to proactively assess work priorities, arrange work accordingly, and meet deadlines accurately
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions
- Ability to work independently on regular tasks and on special projects when assigned
- Proven experience working with confidential communications while maintaining a high level of professionalism
- Experience providing excellent customer service and to be attentive to the diverse needs of the employees we support
- Ability to effectively handle tasks assigned, while staying available to provide timely customer service to our employees
