The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure clinician educator track. Expertise is required in the specific area of trauma-related strength and suicide prevention. Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree. License to practice clinical psychology is required.

Teaching responsibilities may include teaching psychiatry residents, postdoctoral fellows, interns, and practicum students about cognitive behavioral therapy for anxiety-related disorders, including posttraumatic stress disorders (PTSD) and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Clinical responsibilities may include direct clinical care to patients with anxiety-related disorders, including clinical intake evaluations, ongoing assessments, and individual or group therapy.

Research or scholarship responsibilities may include establishing an independent line of research as well as contributing to ongoing research efforts at the Center for the Treatment and Study of Anxiety (CTSA). The ideal candidate for this position will conduct research in the areas of trauma-related distress and suicide prevention.
