Assistant or Associate Professor of Sociology
Minimum Qualifications:With submitted materials, the candidate must demonstrate:
- A Ph.D in Sociology or a closely related social science field conferred by the date of initial appointment
- Evidence of the ability to contribute to one or more areas of departmental strength in: inequality / stratification, criminology, community, and / or health
- Evidence of scholarly productivity and an active research agenda commensurate with rank
- A strong record of teaching and service commensurate with rank.
- Evidence of a commitment to building an inclusive scholarly environment through teaching, mentoring, research, outreach, and/or service
