Job Description

Temporary Office Pool
The TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center at Boston College is home to two major international research programs that monitor student achievement in mathematics, science, and reading. TIMSS and PIRLS are regular assessments involving more than 60 countries worldwide.
The TIMSS & PIRLS International Study Center is seeking to fill a temporary position to assist with TIMSS, providing assistance with the following:
Create mathematics and science assessment items in proprietary web-based application.
With supplied item text and graphics, create items that look and function as designed by content specialists.
Follow given style guidelines for formatting and layout of items.

This is a temporary position located at Boston College that will begin in mid May and possibly run until the fall or longer. Competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Qualifications:

Skilled in using computers and able to quickly learn new systems/programs and troubleshoot as needed;
Basic Excel Skill;
Meticulous attention to detail; and
Able to work under tight timelines and meet high standards of quality.
