Job Description

The Prospect Management Analyst reports to the Director of Prospect Development and works closely with the Assistant Director of Prospect Management. The Analyst is a member of the team within University Advancement that ensures the optimal distribution of prospective donors to fundraiser portfolios and maximizes access to information and insights required to manage our relationship with these constituents.

The Prospect Management Analyst will join a team of professionals who bring diverse skills and experiences in research, data analytics, and relationship management to deliver best-in-class internal consulting and services to the entire advancement organization. As part of this team, the Analyst is expected to work independently and collaboratively on processes associated with on-going relationship management, such as building and maintaining fundraiser portfolios, defining and implementing methods to evaluate and drive portfolio productivity, facilitating the development and tracking of individual fundraising strategies, monitoring key measures of fundraiser productivity, and helping ensure the effective and timely capture of relationship management data, including actions, discovery information, and wealth indicators, collected through constituent interactions. The Analyst will also be expected to develop a working knowledge of prospect research and data analyses in order to meet the level of cohesion needed in this high performing team. In conjunction with information services systems staff, the Analyst supports user training and serves as a resource for end-users of prospect management functions and procedures.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $51,350 to $64,200; salary commensurate with relevant experience.



Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor's degree and at least one year of related professional experience. Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, work planning, and business computing skills are required. Must be motivated and dedicated to the goals of advancing higher education. An ability to work as a part of a cohesive team, and past experience in basic research and analysis are also prerequisites. This position involves work with highly confidential information and complete discretion is required. Must be a team player who is highly motivated and dedicated to the goals of advancing higher education and have an appreciation for Jesuit Catholic education and the goals and values of Boston College.
