Responsibilities:

The Northeastern University Marketing department is looking for a Project Manager to join our growing dynamic team. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing the inception and delivery of multiple projects of varied types and levels of technical complexity. The ideal candidate would have experience scoping, resourcing and managing integrated programs inclusive of digital and print executions. An agency background is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation
  • Develop a detailed project plan to track progress
  • Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
  • Measure project health using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Manage the relationship with respective stakeholders
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree required
    3-5 years of experience in a project management role
    Solid background managing through strategic, creative and technical projects
    Skilled at getting the best out of the people and projects that they oversee
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    Exceptional organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
    Strong working knowledge of project management best practics; PMP certification a plus
    Experience with Wordpress and other CMS platforms a plus
    Self-starter with a can do attitude and intense desire to excel
    Committed, engaged, decisive, adaptable,

    Familiarity/Experience with the following a plus:
    Agency environment experience
    The full marketing lifecycle
    Marketing automation, content management, analytics and email platforms
    User experience and visual design process, trends and standards
    Print production requirements and process
