Job Summary:

Job Summary The Program Assistant IV, Graduate Tax Program will perform a key function in the growth and success of the Graduate Tax Program. Supporting both the Associate Director and Assistant Director's main functions, the Program Assistant IV, Graduate Tax Program will be responsible for front-end admissions processes, front-end student services support, administrative faculty support, detailed research and analysis on prospective student markets, new marketing outlets and channels and sponsorship opportunities, administrative management of online and print marketing strategies, database management, coordinating events, and various other tasks as assigned.

Reporting to the Assistant Director and serving as an integral member of the Graduate Tax Program team, this position's primary responsibility is ensuring operational effectiveness. The position also contributes to the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, and practices. This position will also interact with many other School of Law and main campus constituencies.

The successful candidate for this position will have significant detail orientation and the ability to manage simultaneously moving parts. Superior written and oral communication skills are required, as are excellent customer service skills. Personal initiative and accountability are particularly necessary. Advanced office technology experience is greatly desired.

Job Responsibilities:

Job Responsibilities Provide front-end admissions for the Graduate Tax Program.
Provide front-end student services support and administrative faculty support.
Conduct detailed research and analysis of prospective student market; oversee program sponsorships and online and print marketing, including creating, updating, maintaining, and reviewing sponsorship opportunities through a wide range of industry organizations.
Manage social media account.
Provide support to Associate Director in marketing, recruitment, and outreach. Regular marketing meetings with Associate Director and Assistant Director. Serve as liaison to Office of Communications.
Manage databases and data entry, including: Aces2 admissions data entry; Canvas troubleshooting for students; inputting, managing and reviewing LawLink student records and tax and estate planning job postings; research potential tax and estate planning jobs in support of Assistant Director; and support Assistant Director in managing and maintaining Banner student records.
Maintain confidential document and electronic file storage system.
Provide support to Associate and Assistant Directors in logistical coordination of events and programs, including with outside organizations whose conferences or meetings we are hosting.
Draft, revise and distribute Tax Program newsletter.
Manage non-employee reimbursement for School of Law students whose student groups the program supports.
Organize, maintain, and add to the Tax Program library.
Manage book orders for tax faculty and tax courses.
Order office supplies.
Work independently and with superior judgment to prioritize workload, answer questions, and resolve issues.
Work with various School of Law and main campus constituencies, including the Law Registrar, Office of Communications, Admissions, Externships, and the Office of the Dean.
Occasional operational and research support for developing new School of Law Graduate Programs.
Perform other tasks as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

Commitment to USFs mission.
Post high school education preferred
Four years of increasingly responsible experience in administrative support work or related education, including at least two years in a senior administrative support role
At least 2 years of work in higher education highly desirable.
Proficiency with MS Office and Google docs.
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with employers, legal and accounting professionals, faculty, staff, and students. Gracious and receptive phone manner and interpersonal skills necessary for working with diverse groups.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
A collaborative work style.
A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace.

Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Prior experience with ACES2 and/or Banner, preferred.
