Job Description

This position works closely with the Executive Director to manage EEO/AA reporting and regulations, as well as respond to data requests from internal and external customers. This position monitors EEO/AA regulatory changes and advises the Executive Director on any changes. This position partners with the Executive Director in the coordination of data in response to government reporting using I-PED, and Vets 4212. In partnership with the Assistant Director, this position will support the implementation of the employee accommodations process (including receiving, processing and reviewing requests and helping to design, identify accommodations), and provides research and data trends in response to the accommodation process. This position designs and maintains OID's web presence adhering to accessibility best practices, has oversight of the office operations via supervision of Graduate Assistant, serves as OID liaison to Affinity Groups and supports the Associate Director in the administration of educational programs including but not limited to CCEM and Affiliates. This position assists the Executive Director in managing the OID budget, including reporting, processing reimbursements, Pcard reconciliation and expenses. Provide ongoing support to diversity recruitment and retention.

The successful candidate will possess a high standard of accuracy and detail orientation in their work product, a respect and appreciation for confidentiality, and the ability to build strategic partnerships across diverse areas.

Duties and Responsibilities required

Work with Executive Director on matters related to Affirmative Action metrics, analyze statistics regarding employment data, application flow, hires, promotions, transfers, demotions, reorganizations, termination and other movement. This position assesses risks and disseminate results to Executive Director.

Assists in the development and implementation of educational improvements to functional process impacting affirmative action.
Analyze and disseminate metrics via comprehensive report to Executive Director, OID team and strategic campus partners related to diversity outcomes for workshops, programs and OID's overall diversity and inclusion initiatives, including but not limited to executive summary reports, diversity scorecard, and OID annual report.

Interface with campus partners, i.e. IRPA, compensation, employment, Provost, HRIT in data request and analysis.
Manage and provide direction and guidance with EverFi in support of the Title IX/Discriminatory Harassment online training process, including implementation and support of new Foundry System. Provide ongoing activity reports for distribution to respective Vice President areas. In collaboration with HRIT representative serve as OID liaison for troubleshooting issues from members of the Boston College community.

Manage administrative functions of the office, including supervision of student workers and assist the Executive Director in the management of the OID budget.

Maintain and enhance where applicable OID website, and intranets for various learning cohorts, and other communication platforms, i.e. administration of SmartSheets.

Participate in or manage special projects, including but not limited to EEO/AA, ad-hoc reports, presentation and/or facilitation of diversity, equity and inclusion educational initiatives and facilitating work groups and IDI Debriefs (QA)

Provides consultation and assistance as OID Liaison to University Affinity Groups (DAC) as well as managers and staff to identify resources to advance strategic diversity and Inclusion initiatives.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $56,700 to $70,900; salary commensurate with relevant experience.



Requirements

Required:

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant experience

Administrative and/or Human Resources, compliance, statistical analysis or other quantitative related experience.

Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work independently and as a team member

Knowledge of EEO/AA laws and regulations Human Resources practices

Preferred:

Knowledge of Affirmative Action Plan development
