The Lead Houseperson provides housekeeping support functions including but not limited to, strip beds, remove and sort soiled linen, organize and stock linen/terry cloth and guest room supplies in housekeeping closets and supply cages, wash glassware for guest rooms, place/remove portable beds/microwaves/cribs/etc, pick up and distribute package deliveries to Morris Inn Executive Office, Maintenance, and Housekeeping. Additional duties include taking inventory of, receiving, and stocking uniforms, linen, and supplies, train and act as a mentor to Houseperson 2, inspect rooms and perform occupancy checks, open the house' by creating and assigning task boards in, and printing reports from, the Property Management System, other duties as assigned.
A preferred candidate has been identified.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED and 1-2 years hospitality experience required. Ability to think proactively and problem solve for solutions. Strong organization skills required and must have ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in a luxury hotel preferred.
