General Summary:
Identifies and assesses grant opportunities; Manages and participates in proposal development and administers awarded grants.

Job Specifications:
Master's degree in an appropriate field and a minimum of five years of experience in grants development, administration and/or writing. Strong facilitation, written and oral communication skills required. Ability to garner cooperation and grant compliance without direct reporting authority. Must have skills in supervision and leadership, budgeting and planning and be analytical and organizational. Diplomacy and experience with project management required, preferably in a higher education setting.

Job Duties:
1. Identifies public and works closely with the CCAC Educational Foundation to determine private funding opportunities available to the College.
2. Informs CCAC administration of opportunities, requirements, guidelines and responsibilities for potential grant funds.
3. Coordinates compliance issues and ensures reporting and regulatory compliance for programs and projects.
4. Provides advice regarding fiscal restraints or other grant limitations.
5. Interprets guidelines regarding grant contracts and administration.
6. Supervises grant related activities and maintains department budget.
7. Monitors the development and implementation of grant applications and proposals as well as the operation of grant-funded projects.
8. Develops and implements recommendations for improvements to processes and operations.
9. Identifies grant-related fiscal and legislative issues.
10. Coordinates the implementation of administrative procedures for newly funded grants.
11. Coordinates system-wide training for college staff and faculty on grant development.
12. As a visible and widely known leader, the EDG serves as CCAC's principal point of contact for matters related to publicly- and privately-funded grants.
13. Prepares reports for and interacts with college leadership teams.
14. Represents the College, when appropriate, at meetings, workshops and conferences.
15. Performs other duties as assigned.
