Job Details

The Director of Finance and Contracts (DF&C), reporting to the Associate Vice President for ICBM Programs (AVPIP), will advance initiatives of the George J. Kostas Research Institute for Homeland Security (KRI) and the Innovation Campus at Burlington, MA (ICBM) through sound fiscal management and contractual oversight of approximately a $30M+ portfolio. The DF&C works with ICBM and KRI leadership with the primary mission to support the growth, sustainment, and execution of the research enterprise related to the ICBM and KRI and the growth and success of the ICBM. The Director will work with ICBM leadership, researchers, and key administrative offices across the university on relevant oversight involving contracts and compliance. The DF&C will be the ICBM point of contact for external government and industry contracts offices and work internally to gather requirements, coordinate initiatives, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Utilizing data analysis to support strategic business decisions, the DF&C will be responsible for the planning and oversight of budgetary matters on the ICBM. DF&C will create and manage all subcontracts on large government programs at the ICBM as well as contracts with ICBM industry company partners.

Qualifications:

Masters degree in Business Administration preferred
A minimum of 8 years project management experience and a demonstrated ability to manage rapidly evolving priorities
Proven track record of effective and results driven problem solving and decision-making
Proven experience with Data Analysis
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to relate to diverse constituencies
Deep understanding of campus climate within higher education and how to take actions that satisfy diverse interests while achieving departmental goals
Extensive experience with the variety of DoD and corporate funding vehicles
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Ability to travel as needed
U.S. Citizenship
Security clearance preferred, ability to qualify for a clearance required
