Position Summary:
Willamette University is accepting applications for the position of Campus Visit Coordinator within the Office of Admission.

The campus visit coordinator serves as the initial contact person for all incoming calls and visitors to the college of liberal arts office of Admission. The campus visit coordinator is responsible for coordinating the campus visit program for individuals and groups by corresponding with prospective students and families, faculty, staff and students at Willamette. The service and quality of the campus visit has a significant impact on Willamette's image and student's decision to enroll, therefore, the campus visit coordinator will work together with the admission team to provide an excellent visit experience and achieve enrollment goals for the university.

This is a full-time, non-exempt, year round position. This position is eligible for the University's generous benefits package that includes: medical/dental insurance, sick and vacation accruals, contribution of 10% of gross base pay from the University in exchange for a mandatory contribution of 1% by the employee, tuition remission, and holidays.

Starting wage for this position is a minimum of $16.07, depending on background, experience, and education compensation may be higher.

Duties & Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following functions:

Ensures the alignment of the campus visit program with the mission, vision and strategic plan for the university
Coordinates daily campus visits and group visits
Corresponds with visitors in a timely manner to advise them of schedules and arrangements, answer questions and convey needed information
Works with student ambassadors to coordinate hospitality to visitors in the office
In partnership with the director of operations, participates in planning and execution of special events
Maintains inventory of print materials and coffee station supplies for the office
Assists operations staff in application processing
Track and evaluate the campus visit program, analyze survey data, prepare reports and stay current on methods and practices for campus visit programs to ensure effectiveness.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree OR in lieu of degree, a combination of education, training, and additional experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of the position will be considered
A minimum of three years of job-related work experience, part of which may be satisfied by education and training.
Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal/people skills with both individuals and groups and ability to interact with diversity of people both in and out of University, and at different levels of the organization.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Competency in use of technology. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, and Google suite. Experience with data entry for computerized information systems. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies associated with the job.
Ability to work accurately with many interruptions, and deal with a variety of tasks under pressure of deadlines.
Ability to work well in a goal-oriented environment
Must be able to work independently, showing initiative and a high level of self-motivation. Must be willing to take on routine tasks and also accept complete responsibility for projects.
Must have patience, integrity, and the ability to exercise good judgment and diplomacy. Must maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Models positive attitude, exemplary work ethic and professionalism
Experience working with populations from diverse backgrounds and the ability to effectively interact with a wide variety of people in a manner that positively portrays the University and its programs, personnel and philosophy.
Must possess a current drivers license valid in the state of Oregon or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire and a driving record insurable by the Universitys insurer.
Successful clearance of a criminal conviction record check.

Willingness to be flexible in work schedule
Familiar with private, residential liberal arts environment
Previous experience in a college admission office
Slate CRM experience
