Job Description

The Administrative Assistant supports the Associate Vice President of Auxiliary Services with daily operational and administrative tasks, including correspondence, calendar maintenance, meeting requests, and assistance with special events. This position responds to customer telephone, email and walk-in inquiries, offering assistance and providing referrals, when appropriate. Additionally, this position assists in the completion of licensing requests. The Administrative Assistant submits applications to the Cities of Newton and Boston for the 500+ events hosted by the University annually and monitors their progress. This position also provides assistance to the Director of Dining Services and the Transportation & Parking Manager, as needed.

Part-Time Position, Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $40,300 to $50,400; salary commensurate with relevant experience.




Requirements

Bachelor's degree, preferred. Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills, essential. Experience working in a fast-paced, detail oriented, and multi-faceted environment, a plus.
