Job Description

The Transportation and Parking Manager reports to the Executive Director, Auxiliary Services and assists in developing and implementing goals, objectives, and policies pertaining to the University's parking and transportation programs, events, and operations. In addition is responsible for self-sustaining department operating budget via revenue from parking permits, visitor parking and parking citations, manages the parking management and revenue systems, and also manages the contractual services of the University's shuttle bus program.

This position is a hub for communication and coordination of any campus transportation and parking concerns and is the liaison to the Boston College Police Department, Facilities Services, and the Boston College community. Also supervises one non-exempt and six to ten student employees.

Full-Time Equivalent Hiring Range: $67,100 to $83,850; salary commensurate with relevant experience.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of organization and financial management experience.

* Must be competent at simplifying complex situations and negotiating successfully in a diverse environment with multiple stakeholders.

* Experience in managing budgets and parking management and revenue systems with ability to analyze reports, metrics and trends.

* Strong listening, communication and customer service skills.
