Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our laboratory team, to contribute to a project focused on understanding the cellular basis of bipolar disorder using human pluripotent stem cells.

Responsibilities*
Daily duties include laboratory organization, chemical handling and aliquoting, and ordering supplies. The technician will assist in bench research, including culture of human pluripotent stem cells, tissue fixation and processing, light microscopy, pcr and western blotting, data recording, as well as supervision of work study students.

Required Qualifications*
High school diploma or Assoc Degree required. 0-1 year experience is required.

Desired Qualifications*
A Bachelor's degree in a life sciences related field is preferred. Ability to work well within a research group, good analytical skills. Training in molecular and cell biology laboratory techniques. There is some weekend work.
