Coastal Carolina University seeks applications for the position of Postal Courier, Temporary (2 positions) in Mail Services.

Duties include, but are not limited to: maintains a proper operational flow of delivered mail to meet the expectations of University students, faculty and staff; assists with the daily processing of incoming and outgoing student and University mail; inputs packages and mail into tracking system; distributes mail and packages to patrons at the Post Office coming to collect their items; completes daily mail delivery and pickup to and from University staff and faculty; provides exceptional customer service to all constituents, including but not limited to faculty, staff, students, visitors and the community at large.

Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) and work experience in postal, courier or delivery operations required. Six (6) months mail services experience are preferred. A valid driver's license is also required. A successful candidate should possess the ability to deal accurately with numbers and money; ability to meet and greet customers in pleasant manner; ability to work well in team setting; and must have initiative to perform required tasks in a timely manner.

Postal Courier, Temporary is a part time temporary position. Normal work hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Must be flexible to meet special scheduling needs of the University.

Required Qualifications
