Job Summary/Basic Function:
Duties:

Perform instruction related duties including scheduling sessions in LibCal, Outlook, and LibAnalytics

Assist with collecting and reporting of library instruction statistics

Provide part time reference service to library patrons via chat and reference desk shifts

Assist patrons in the use of library resources including the library catalog, electronic databases, the Internet, and print reference materials

Perform library related duties such as shifting and shelving materials

Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree required

Knowledge:
Standard library and/or office practices and procedures
Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the general public
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to understand and carry out work assignments based on general knowledge
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, faculty, staff, and the general public
Basic computer literacy/familiar and comfortable with computers both hardware and software

Skills:
Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and the general public
Ability to provide excellent customer service
Ability to understand and carry out work assignments based on general knowledge
