Job Details

• Serve as the Accredited Training Institution (ATI) Program Director for the Paramedic Program and EMT courses.
• Teach Emergency Medical Studies (EMS) courses.
• Serve as Department Chair for the EMS Department.
• Responsible for all aspects of the ATI program and courses within, including, but not limited to the administration, organization, and supervision of the educational program.
• Serve as Program Director with Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CoAEMSP) for the Paramedic Program.
• Responsible for the effectiveness of the ATI program, including instruction and faculty, with systems in place to demonstrate the effectiveness of the program.
• Cooperate with the medical director on specific involvement duties for the paramedic program.
• Orientation/training and supervision of clinical and field internship preceptors.
• Responsible for the effectiveness and quality of fulfillment of responsibilities delegated to another instructor.
• Determine appropriate goals and objectives of paramedic and EMT courses and assist in developing course standards.
• Maintain expertise in area of teaching responsibility.
• Actively utilize and supervise faculty and staff as stipulated in the MCCC Collective Bargaining Agreement

• Master's degree required
• EMT-Paramedic with 3-5 years of experience
• Certification as a Paramedic by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Instructor/Coordinator approval by the Massachusetts Office of Emergency Medical Services
• College teaching experience preferred
• Proven ability to work with a diverse faculty, staff and student population
• Ability to meet all requirements for an ATI Program Director with the Commonwealth of
• Massachusetts, Office of Emergency Medical Services, and for Program Director for the Paramedic Program Director as required by CoAEMSP

Salary Range: $65,000.00-$75,000.00. Actual Salary Will Be Commensurate With Education and Experience in Accordance with MCCC/MTA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Relocation Stipend May Be Available.
