Job Description

The Lynch Leadership Academy seeks a Director, Finance and Operations who will be responsible for ensuring that LLA's operational, programmatic and financial systems are supporting the organization's current operation and ongoing expansion

Reporting to the Executive Director of the Lynch Leadership Academy responsibilities include:
Facilitating a strategic planning process for Lynch Leadership Academy. Research potential opportunities, analyze current and new contexts, and propose strategies for growth and expansion of LLA over the next 5 years.Identify targets and benchmarks, as well as drivers, for growth. Design processes and protocols for LLA to use in planning and decision-making around new opportunities, either that we purse or that we are offered.
Set and execute a financial vision that best supports the strategic plan of the Academy. Oversee and develop budgets for organization. Prepare cash flow analyses, and monitor and forecast revenues and expenses. Provide timely, accurate, and useful financial and management reporting for funders and other key stakeholders. Serve as primary liaison to Boston College's Finance Office.
Develop high level operational plan for all nine of LLA's programs. Lead process of writing MOUs with District and School Partners. Serve as operational lead for the team overseeing work streams and timeline tracking.
Manage and direct the work of the Assistant Director, Program & Operations.Act as operational lead for office, team and contractors.

Develop and execute funding strategy for LLA with Executive Director. Ensure programmatic and financial reporting is completed per funder's requirements. Serve as primary liaison to Boston College's Office of Sponsored Programs. Oversee sponsored projects to ensure that all expenditures are processed timely and efficiently. Responsible for creating sponsored project proposal budgets; Work closely with OSP on proposal submissions - MOU's and reporting requirements of the sponsors.

Develop strategies and processes for accomplishing data needs, analytic projects, and the evaluation of programs. Manage dashboards. Analyze programmatic data to inform overall program strategy.

Requirements

Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred
7-10 years of finance and operations experience
With 5-7 years of experience overseeing a budget of ~2M+
1-2 years of management experience
Passion for LLA's mission
Experience leading complex program evaluation and measurement projects
Track record of developing and growing relationships with funders
Excellent interpersonal skills with experience building and managing external partners
Ability to navigate and succeed in a complex organization
