The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) has overall responsibility and accountability for providing leadership for long-range planning, program development, problem solving, and staff development. This position provides leadership in employee relations activities, including contract negotiations, and ensures contract education and good faith execution. This position oversees the full scope of Human Resources activities and programs, and leads the Human Resources team in setting goals and strategies for the Division. The CHRO is responsible for monitoring progress, alignment with the College's mission and strategic priorities, and adjusting for change.
The CHRO serves on the Executive Team for the college, and provides information, shares ideas, and participates in overall direction setting for the college.
The CHRO serves as the College's Title VI and Title IX Coordinator and disability compliance officer, and assumes full responsibility for the delivery of services connected with human resources, payroll, and Titles VI and IX. This includes the development, communication, and administration of all related policies and procedures affecting staff and students. Title IX activities are carried out in collaboration with the Director of Student Life and Leadership and the Human Resources Compliance Specialist, who both serve as Deputy Title IX Coordinators.

Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Public Administration or a closely related field, and a minimum of seven years' in Human Resources related experience, including management and supervisory experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will receive consideration.
